What our clients have to say
”Rory’s high standard of professional personal training has been a physical and mental lifeline to me over the past couple of years. I started with a 6 week post-operative rehabilitation course with Rory, and two years later I am hooked. Thanks to Rory, I am fitter than I have ever been. His gentle guidance and expertise have made an inestimable contribution to my physical health and optimism. Thank you Rory.

”I have been training with Rory for the last 12 years.....initially on my annual 3 month stay in Cape Town but now with the corona virus lockdown 3 times a week on Zoom. I live in the UK. I am a member of the ageing population but as a ballet dancer in my youth I like the sessions to be relatively energetic. In my opinion Personal trainers in South Africa are very well trained and Rory is particularly aware and sensitive to the specific needs of the older generation. He has helped me remain fit and active and his positive attitude to life has helped my mental wellbeing as well. I cannot recommend him highly enough and once the pandemic is over I will continue my personal training from the UK

”Having not done exercise for many years I met Rory who became my personal trainer. Over a decade later we are still training together. Rory sessions are professional, tailored, friendly and most of all fun experiences. Rory is like an institution in our household and we are great friends.

I could not recommend Rory more highly for your personal training and wellness needs, you will not regret it!
”My name is Eric and I am retired Psychiatrist aged 70 years.
Physical exercise is very important to me and is one of the most enjoyable things that I do. I have had Personal Training since the age of 48 years, and have seen a good
number of trainers in the last 22 Years. I was fortunate to start training with Rory 12 years ago and I immediately took to him for number of reasons:-First, he has a lovely personality and a great sense of humour and we laugh a lot, which is good for the soul! He is really friendly and immediately made me feel at ease.
Second, he has a knack of training, so that I never feel that he pushes me too hard, yet he achieves a high level of fitness and wellbeing. (Others have made me sweat blood for a lot less). His training regimen is age appropriate and highly relevant for my needs.
Third, he is excellent with any niggles or physical problems (which are common at this age!) and he uses the right regime to improve the problem. I have been impressed with his knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and he is brilliant at rehab., working around any ailments that I may have.
Fourth, he is highly psychologically aware, and knows how to motivate and keep me
positive. He has majored in Sports Science and Psychology and also has other
qualifications from Stellenbosch University amongst others. (see his web page for details)I live between the UK and Cape Town and am currently “locked down” in the UK, training with Rory on Zoom twice per week. I hope to increase to three times per week soon.
He characteristically set this all up very quickly and efficiently and it is working well. I
intend to continue on line training when in the UK and face to face in Cape Town in the future.
People ask me about Rory and I simply say "He is the best Trainer I have ever hadYou will be lucky if he takes you on.

”Rory Capon has been my personal trainer since 2008. Over that time he has helped me maintain my fitness whilst understanding the pressures of my job.Not only is he an outstanding trainer, and has also helped with rehabilitation from injuries I've done to myself, but is also a great sounding board. The fact that I have been with Rory for 12 years speaks for itself. He also trained my son, Ricky from age 12 to 18 years old and was a phenomenal trainer and mentor to him.
